How Nalori Applied collects, uses, and protects personal information, under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).
Who this applies to
This notice covers visitors to nalori.co.za and anyone who contacts the firm by email or web form. It applies before and after Nalori Applied (Pty) Ltd is formally incorporated.
The Responsible Party under POPIA is currently S'khumbuzo Mbanjwa, acting for Nalori Applied in formation. On incorporation, the Responsible Party will transfer to Nalori Applied (Pty) Ltd.
What we collect
We process only the personal information you choose to give us:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your company or organisation (if you provide it)
- The content of messages you send us
We do not use cookies, analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party embeds. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs the IP address of each request for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
Why we process it
To respond to your enquiries, scope potential engagements, and meet legal obligations where they apply (for example, tax records and professional correspondence retention). We do not send marketing email, newsletters, or unsolicited communications.
Who we share it with
No one, except operators who host or deliver the service (currently: Cloudflare for hosting, and our email provider for inbound mail). These operators process your information only to provide the service and are bound by their own compliance obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing.
How long we keep it
Correspondence is retained for as long as required to act on your enquiry and meet legal or contractual obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Your rights under POPIA
You have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it
- Object to the processing of your information
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator

Security
The website is served over HTTPS with modern TLS. Inbound email is delivered to a provider-hosted inbox with standard spam and malware filtering. Messages are kept in services with commercial-grade security controls. In the unlikely event of a compromise affecting your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator in line with POPIA s22.
Children
Nalori Applied's services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes are reflected in the "Effective" date above. The current version is always available at nalori.co.za/privacy.
